Jonathan Horgan

Director of Pharmacy Services

Jonathan Horgan has led the Medicines Management and Optimisation, and Clinical Policy services since 2013 in the NHS Midlands and Lancashire (NHS ML) commissioning support unit. Prior to this he has worked across four main sectors; briefly in the pharmaceutical industry and retail pharmacy sectors, and for the majority of his time leading and supporting the use of medicines in NHS hospital and primary care sectors.

Within the NHS he has held led medicines services for a range of organisations and has provided clinical leadership on the executive board in NHS Midlands and Lancashire.

His main interests include innovation, NHS - Industry partnerships, health inequalities, and patient satisfaction. Jonathan is a registered pharmacist, with a post-graduate Clinical Diploma and a MSc in Health Care and Policy.
